EssentialsX provides useful utility commands for getting around, messaging, and managing your gameplay.

Teleportation & Homes
Command What it does
/sethome [name] Save your current location as a home
/home [name] Teleport to a saved home

/back Return to your previous location (works after death!)
/spawn Teleport to the server spawn

Teleporting to Other Players

mcMMO — RPG Skills System

mcMMO adds an RPG-style skill system to Minecraft. As you perform activities, you'll level up skills and unlock special abilities!

Skills Overview

Gathering Skills

  • Mining — Break stone/ore faster, double drops
  • Woodcutting — Chop faster, chance for double logs
  • Herbalism — Better crop yields, instant replant
  • Excavation — Find treasure in dirt/sand/gravel
  • Fishing — Better loot, shake items from mobs

Combat Skills

  • Swords — Bleed effects, counter-attacks
  • Axes — Armor impact, critical strikes
  • Archery — Skill shots, daze effect
  • Unarmed — Disarm opponents, deflect arrows
  • Taming — Stronger wolves, pet abilities

Towny — Land Protection & Towns

Towny allows players to create and manage protected towns where you can build safely.

About the Wilderness

You have full access to build, break, and interact in the wilderness (unclaimed areas). Explore and gather resources anywhere that isn't claimed by a town!

Permissions

Towny uses a permission system with four groups and four action types:

Groups: resident, ally, nation, outsider
Actions: build, destroy, switch, itemuse
